The KCHC Volunteer Program is provided:
- To allow those who have fallen on difficult times, to not be held back from biblical counsel.
- To help motivate and give opportunity for the counseled to help others in their need.

- To help the counselor by holding the counseled accountable, to fulfill their side of the agreement.
- Failure on the counsel's part of fulfilling their part of the agreement may result in the cancellation of future sessions.
